We are growing our team and are currently hiring a talented Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) and an Apprentice HET to support our Field operations in Grande Prairie. Key Responsibilities:
You will report to the Fleet Manager in Edmonton. Your duties will be conducted in the Field and will require maintenance and repair of our tandem, triaxle, water and vacuum trucks, track hoes, and light-duty vehicles; knowledge of their systems including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic troubleshooting. We are looking for 2 experienced, hard-working individuals who are interested in a long-term fit with opportunity for growth!
Job Requirements:
Journeyman:
Journeyman Certificate, preferably with a CVIP licence
A reliable and adaptable, safety-conscious team player with a great attitude
Preferred work experience in the oil and gas industry
Able to work independently and under minimum supervision
Successfully pass Pre-Employment Alcohol and Drug Screening Test.
Willingness to work over time Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Apprentice:
2nd, 3rd, 4th year Apprentice in a registered program
A reliable and adaptable, safety-conscious team player with a great attitude
Successfully pass Pre-Employment Alcohol and Drug Screening Test.
Willingness to work over time Ability to lift 50 lbs.
* Wage for the Apprentice is based on the sliding scale for Apprentices (90%, 80%, 70%, etc. of the advertised Journeyman rate)
