Pitbull Energy Services operates an Integrated Shale Cuttings Dryer (ISCD) that utilizes filters and a centrifuge to separate invert from drill cuttings. Typical flow line shaker cuttings maintain a liquid content between 15-20% but when properly managed with the ISCD, the liquid content can be reduced to <4%. The recovered invert can then be added back into the mud system and reused while the dried cuttings can be hauled to disposal.

Exchangers are complicated pieces of equipment that require a detailed cleaning process. The series of tubes within the exchanger can become full of rust and buildup, restricting the flow. We run high pressure water as well as any necessary chemicals throughout the exchanger and tubes so as to properly clear all flow-ways.
Pitbull has automated tools for heat exchanger cleaning service to run cleaning cycles remotely. The water power is controlled with foot pedals so that our team members are outside of the line of fire.

Pitbull uses powerful chemical cleaning units equipped with two mixing tanks and a 5.3 million BTU, high efficiency boiler that provides the best industrial chemical cleaning services in Alberta. The chemical unit is ideal for tank cleaning, tank-to-tank transfers, heating fluids, and pipeline testing and filling.
The unit is a closed loop, so there is less chance of spillage and additional safety within the unit. We also provide our own containment tarps to ensure there are no leaks of ground contamination.
Cannons are ideal for cleaning the initial lining of sludge and buildup from tanks. These water cannons push incredibly high volumes of water through the tank, up to 300 gallons per minute. Our cannon is a remotely controlled, automated door cannon.
The cannon is mounted to any access way in a tank and controlled from a remote command centre. The added benefits of the cannon are the superior cleaning capability and added safety benefits. The automated cannon removed the need for confined space entry, as there is an attached LED lighting and camera system.
